Chainsaw Bread

59

Chainsaw bread is inspired by traditional pinewood-bark bread (pettuleipä) eaten in Finland during the many famines along the history.
The hole in the centre was traditionally there for storing the breads by hanging them on poles along the ceilings. The hole in Chainsaw Bread prevents the wood from splitting when it dries.
